What is the Google Penguin algorithm?

The Google Penguin algorithm, or Google Penguin for short, is one of the Google algorithms officially announced on April 24, 2012. Google Penguin was born to tighten the problem of black hat SEO, link spam and building Unnatural backlink links of some websites.

Google Penguin can cause a sudden drop in organic traffic and keyword rankings.
